On The Rocks 3D Virtual Exhibition

Oct 16 -

Dec 18

Let's rock.

Starting today, Melbourne-based photographer Kate Shanasy is hosting an interactive virtual exhibition from her home. On The Rocks is dedicated to, well, rocks and more so the outrageously rocky year that 2020 has been.

Joining her in this online exhibition are artists, designers, chefs and DJs all within her 5km radius. Their works too embody the ‘rocky’ theme and express the maker’s 2020 experience.

Kate’s work, also titled On The Rocks, is a series of 30 limited edition framed prints that explore the geological marvels of coastlines across Italy, France, Iceland and Australia.

As she puts it, this year has been “shaky as hell” and this exhibition is a rebuttal, a celebration of “community, colour and happy hopeful vibes”, lifting spirits and supporting creative minds and local businesses.

“It’s about awakening the senses after relentless months in monotone.”

Pour yourself a Campari soda and join Kate and friends here as you enter a cyber door into colour, coastlines, seafood and floral installations.
