Sister Studios drop Summer 15/16 collection

Sister Sister.

Local gals label Sister has unveiled its Summer 15/16 collection and its full of vibrant colours and dramatic silhouettes.

This is the label’s second collection to drop since its inception in 2014, and is made from a range of new and vintage fabrics.

Founders Emma Cutri and Alice McIntosh spoke about their design influence.

“We thought about dancing on a balmy night at a big party where everyone is moving in vibrant colours…Together we created shapes we would love to wear with new fabrics for us like satin, linen and light weight denims. These garments are effortless and can be worn alone for a strong look in and of themselves.”

Everything about this label screams girl power. The campaign was shot in partnership with photographer and Melbourne creative Elise Wilken (WITU), model and long-time Sister muse, Seala Loko (Folk Collective). They also tapped Heather Lighton for their online store imagery and lookbook shot by Heather Lighton.

The collection also features some updated favourites from the first range, including the Joy Jumpsuit, Ruby Ruffle Dress and Grace Crop Top.

Summer 15/16 Drop One will launch Tuesday December 1, while Drop Two will follow in a couple weeks.
