An exhibition of the city’s top fashion graduates is coming to Sydney

Prepare to be floored.

Fashion students often produce the most inspiring designs as they offer a tiny glimpse into Australia’s fashion future. If you needed further proof, here’s a good place to start.

Since 1991, Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum has hosted an annual exhibition that showcases work from students at Sydney’s top four design institutes.

The chosen creatives this year are Ann Xiao from TAFE NSW, Laura Davis from Raffles College of Design and Commerce, Meredith Bullen from University of Technology and Erin Pritchett from Whitehouse Institute of Design.

Student Fashion 2017 will see each of the four students present two signature garments alongside documentation of the creative process behind the pieces.

The exhibition will run from March 27 to October 18 in the MAAS Centre of Fashion.
