Applications are now open for this year’s Frocktober challenge

Let’s get frocked up.

It’s time to whip out those floral dresses again. Frocktober is just over a month away and this year’s challenge is to reach $500,000.

For those unaware, Frocktober is an annual campaign that aims to raise awareness and fund research for ovarian cancer, including early detection tests.

Since its foundation in 2007, the campaign has raised over $1.5 million for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

Here’s how it works. There are three main challenges to choose from through the Frocktober website:

  1. 31 Frocks: Wear a frock every day for the month of October.
  2. TGIFF: Dress up on each Friday of the month as a way to fundraise.
  3. Frock Party: Host an Frocktober event sporting your most outlandish dress and get your guests to do the same.

Pick one (or three), get friends and family to sponsor to you, and support a cause while looking fabulous.

The campaign is open to everyone and donations can be made through the website. Happy Frocking.
