Western Australia’s dynamic design duo Jameen Zalfen and Rachel Motteram of Dyspnea have just dropped their next instalment, Dyslexicola, and it’s delicious.
Following the holographic unicorn-esque sparkle of their second collection, Paralysis, the creative genius’ paraded the disco-fluff of Dyslexicola during Paris Fashion Week in 2014. At Jonas Fernando Pires Showroom no less…sigh.
Shooting the lookbook on location also in Paris, it is no question why the designers’ unforgettable apocalypse of glitter, gold, and ghetto beats have seen them nominated for WA Fashion Awards’ Designers of Tomorrow.
For the disco movers, groovers, milk-shakers, and marshmallow tastemakers. The quintessential Dyspnea clothes horse would be the lovechild of Beyoncé and Russell Brand….glam, strong, carefree, with an ‘idgf’ attitude. We feel.
