FBI Fashion College is taking applications for October

Courses in Fashion Business, Fashion Design and a trip to Paris Fashion Week? Yes please.

It’s that time again. FBI Fashion College in Sydney is enrolling the fashun forward for classes starting October 6.

They’ve got two courses. Fashion Business and Fashion Design. They were the first college to ever introduce a fashion business course to Australia and have been prepping graduates since 1994.

They cover everything you need to know about working in the fashion industry. Styling, buying, public relations, marketing, communications, journalism and a heap more are included in the business course, and the design course takes you through concepts, illustration and sketching, textiles, pattern making, cutting, garment construction and assembly.

Some of their graduates have gone on to work at places like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Gucci, Topshop, The Iconic, Carla Zampatti, eMg Models, Zimmermann, Alice McCall, sass & bide and Channel Seven. Impressive stuff. There’s a fantastic mentoring program that helps graduates snag these covetable spots and the staff have great relationships with people who work in the fashion industry. Josh Goot, Camilla Franks, Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton (of sass & bide), and Nicky and Simone Zimmermann are regular presenters at graduation. Hello Insta opportunity.

Best part? Um you can go to Paris Fashion Week. Legit. Students either take part in the Fashion Field Trip or Fashion Study Trip and travel to Paris in the 2016 term break. UHmazing.

Paris is waiting.
