Jean Paul Gaultier is designing a line to be sold at 7-Eleven stores

Only in Japan, though.

Jean Paul Gaultier’s first ready-to-wear venture since we said goodbye to his eponymous line last year will be in collaboration with Japanese retailer Seven and I Holdings, as announced yesterday.

The capsule collection is slated to comprise over 50 items and will be named “Jean Paul Gaultier for Sept Premières”, reports Womens Wear Daily. With pieces ranging from $32-$250, the collection is currently signed on to run for two seasons and aims to provide high quality clothing at a accessible price point.

Bad news for us is the line will only be sold in Japan. Due to launch later this year, it will be sold at various department stores as well as all 7-11 convenience stores.

Here’s hoping the collection will make its way down under.
