Kenzo has dropped a short film parodying your social media life

Lights, camera, action.

Having only just dropped a film for its first fragrance, Kenzo is again popping up in our feed for a similar reason.

The brand has shared a seven-minute short film for its Fall campaign, premiering at Kenzo’s New York Fashion Week show.

Titled, The Realest Real, the Carrie Brownstein-directed film parodies the social media era. It explores “the invisible digital walls that separate us from our favorite personalities and icons,” while also taking a stab at what would happen if all your Insta dreams came true.

The film stars Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon as well as Laura Harrier, Mahershala Ali, Natasha Lyonne, and Rowan Blanchard.

Aside from a quirky story line, the video previews the next additions to Kenzo’s lineup.
