Lonely has photographed three women living with breast cancer for Breast Cancer Awareness month

An important cause.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Lonely lingerie is helping the cause in a very special way.

First of all, the label has tapped photographer Harry Ware to shoot three women living with secondary breast cancer, as part of the Lonely Girls Project.

The project is an ongoing series featuring candid portraits of inspiring women wearing Lonely in their own way. Previous participants have included Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and a whole lot of everyday women.

Lonely has also commissioned artist Ophelia Mikkelson to design a limited-edition T-shirt, with all proceeds going towards the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

In a select number of stores throughout New Zealand, there will also be nurses present throughout the month to answer questions and provide information on Breast Cancer awareness.

The Lonely x Ophelia tees are strictly limited-edition, with pre-order available here.
