Old friends Converse x Stüssy to release ’70 Stüssy 35 collection

Converse and Stüssy doing it right.

Converse have just announced the launch of their latest collaboration, joining forces for a fifth time with Stüssy, as they celebrate their 35th anniversary this year.

An integral part of the design scene since 1980, and inspired by the Californian surf culture, Stüssy is now a world-renowned lifestyle brand spread across major cities like NYC, London, Paris and Tokyo.

The limited edition Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 Stüssy 35 collection will bring Stüssy’s rich graphic heritage into the aesthetic mix, to commemorate the milestone. Their signature ‘Tom Tom’ prints naturally an appearance and it’s all custom engineered. Of course.

Layered with multi-dimensional embroidery, tones run in neutral grey and deep blue hues with a colour contrast in zig zag and wave patterns.

The iconic Converse tongue labels will now be making room for the Stüssy Logo, and the collaboration sees a perfect balance of brilliant bold and relaxed, understated vibes.

The 1970s re-crafted Chuck Taylor high-top and ox silhouettes are available from Friday September 4, exclusively online at only $160 a pop.
