Puma launches R698 Kosma pack
Straight outta the ’90s.
Global sports brand Puma is about to launch the R698 Kosma Pack for Summer 2015.
Back in the ’90s, the R698 was the professional athlete’s weapon of choice. The hexagonal system in the sole revolutionised what support and compression in a shoe meant.
Inevitably, due to the distinctive design of the shoe, it has moved away from its place of performance footwear. More often than not, you’ll see it on the streets, rather than on the track.
The Kosma pack is compromised of three different colour-ways, created to reflect autumn vibes and shades: Inca gold, high risk red and black.
Each panel of the R698 sneaker is made from a different material, to emphasise the shoe’s iconic silhouette. Think mesh, soft leather and crackled premium nubuck.
The collection drops exclusively in Platypus Stores across Australia tomorrow.
