Spotlight on: Leroy & Eli

Watch this space.

Leroy & Eli’s streetwear goes beyond just clothing.

The eponymous, Melbourne-based label was started by two brothers who wanted to comment on the culture of consumption.

Sick of the excessive use of polyester in fashion, Leroy and Eli Pausigere created a range of T-shirts from 100 per cent cotton. They’ve also taken a step away from fast fashion, localising the manufacturing process in every aspect.

Each Leroy & Eli design features satirical and lighthearted prints which explore dark truths about the world. And the exploration is set to go further in the label’s SS18 collection, Beware of the Bourgeoisie. Set to drop later this year, the range will offer a 21st-century interpretation of middle class values and mentality.
