Ummm soo models were fainting from exhaustion at the Yeezy Season 4 show

So not glam.

It seems that everything Kanye touches turns to controversy.

Last night saw the rapper-turned-fashion designer showcase his Yeezy Season 4 collection at Manhattan’s Roosevelt Island.  What overshadowed the clothes, however, were reports that models were left dehydrated and fainting, after they were made to stand in the sweltering heat without water or shade.

Kanye invited top bloggers, models, social media stars, editors, buyers and celebrities to feast their eyes upon his latest creations. But although the show was supposed to start at 3pm, guests were left waiting for over an hour and a half.

After temperatures crept into the thirties, the first model passed out. A second fainted a few minutes later. Other models helped them as they fell, however no one in the audience got up to assist. Perhaps they thought this was some sort of Kanye-esque fainting installation?

20 minutes into the presentation, about 30 models gave up and sat on the grass. This was harder to ignore.

Editor for New York Magazine’s The Cut, tweeted her disgust: “Most awful thing I have ever seen at #NYFW. Getting the f*** out of this. #YeezySeason4 what a nightmare.”

This was after guests were chartered to the island by a bus that resembled one you take to a school excursion. So not glam.

An editor from Fashionista.com joked “The #YeezyBus is really glamorous, guys! Especially when the bathroom door swings open and nearly slaps us!”

It all sounds like absolute chaos, with one model even having to take off her shoes in order to walk down the runway.

Hopefully next season he can work to make his collection a little harder, better, faster and stronger. Or you know, capable of passing basic health and safety regulations?
