Viktor&Rolf have finally released their first ever bridal collection

Dreams come true.

If you’ve ever pictured yourself walking down the aisle in Viktor&Rolf, you can now turn that dream into a reality.

Over the years, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have designed a number of once-off wedding gowns. In 2006 they released a bridal collab with H&M. Fast forward to June this year, and the pair announced they would be releasing their very own collection of wedding dresses. The suspense was certainly mounting. As self-proclaimed wedding dress obsessors, it was high time they released a range of their own.

And finallllllly, Bridal Week 2017 in New York and that knot has officially been tied. Viktor&Rolf has released Mariage.

The collection is as beautiful and innovative as you’d expect and sees Viktor and Rolf give love to their iconic fragrance Flowerbomb, with the two designing a standout gown in its honour. It’s called the Flowerbomb gown, a dramatic strapless dress with a voluminous tulle skirt, which wouldn’t be complete without a decent dose of oversized flowers. Quite fitting.

There are also two short dresses inspired by the ’60s, as well as sharply tailored jumpsuits.

As per usual, we have to expect the unexpected from the high-fashion dynamic duo. Viktor&Rolf Mariage is complete with Japanese crepe fabrics, structured tulle and heavy duchesse.

If you find yourself needing to satisfy your Viktor&Rolf satisfying a little more IRL, you’re in luck. The National Gallery of Victoria is set to play host to Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Artists over summer, while the designers themselves are going to be making an appearance for the Viktor&Rolf In Conversation event in Melbs on October 21.
