Watch: The trailer for ‘Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer’ is here

An intimate look into the life of Moschino’s creative director.

Jeremy Scott has become one of the more polarising figures in the fashion industry, so a film about his life and fashion journey is certainly going to draw a crowd.

Titled Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer, the documentary looks like it’s going to explore his awkward beginnings as a farm boy in Kansas City, Missouri, up until his current role as the Creative Director for Moschino.

“As a kid in a farm in a small town looking at magazines and seeing high fashion and wanting to be a part of it so badly, I didn’t realise that the runways were fake and you know, TV wasn’t real,” he says.

It’s a pretty star-studded movie. We hear praise from Katy Perry, A$AP Rocky, Rita Ora, Paris Hilton and Miley Cyrus.

We also learn a bit more about his future aspirations, fears and opinions on contemporary culture. We see him move from LA to New York Fashion Week, make his Moschino debut in Milan, London Fashion Week, right through to Art Basel in Miami.

What a life.
