Chloe Sevigny to release Chloe Book

Coming soon to a coffee table near you, the impossibly cool Chloe Sevigny has revealed she is releasing a book.

Coming soon to a coffee table near you, the impossibly cool Chloe Sevigny has revealed that she is releasing a book.

The long-term It Girl made the announcement in a recent interview with The Daily Beast, describing the upcoming book as sounding “really narcissistic and annoying”.

But the simply titled Chloe Book will be far from.

Published by Rizzoli, the book is set to be less style guide and more art book, with a collection of images, ephemera and “weirdo fashion” (her words) from over the years.

The idea was born from an unsurprisingly popular Chloe Stylebook that Sevigny discovered while in Japan. She stated in an interview,

“I had no idea who made it, and it was just these horrible paparazzi shots of me. I was a bit depressed about it, but curious, so then this girl called me from Rizzoli and I figured I’d reclaim it, and do it in the way that I’d want to do it.”

According to Fashionista, the pages will feature early modelling snaps from her Sassy days, personal photos by high school friends and snippets from her daily planner.  Oh, and the foreword will be by Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth.

Seriously, could she get any cooler?
