A $30 Aussie wine just got ranked the world’s best

Cheers.

We already knew Australian wine was pretty grape. Earlier this year, several cheap Aussie wines took out the top prizes at Melbourne’s International Wine festival.

Now, a dinky-di Aussie drop has officially been crowned the top wine of 2017.

Taylors Jaraman Shiraz 2014 has taken out the number one spot in an international ranking of the world’s best wines and wineries, published by the World Ranking of Wines and Spirits.

The $31 bottle beat out a huge 700,930 other wines for the title, across 80 international wine competitions globally.

Furthermore, four Australian wineries were ranked in the world’s top 20 most awarded wineries in the world.

It’s time we crack open a bottle to celebrate.

You can read the full rankings here and shop the vino at BWS.
