AEVOE Cinema launches at Howler in April

This looks fantastic.

We are beyond excited for the launch of AEVOE Cinema, a series of film screenings at Brunswick’s Howler in April.

In case you don’t know, AEVOE is a freelance collective that consists of 50 photographers and filmmakers primarily from Melbourne, but also from New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and Los Angeles.

Creative Director, James J Robinson, is adding AEVOE Cinema to the mix. The 19-year-old (yes, 19) is a huge film buff, and wants to bring the best cult classics and international films to you.

AEVOE Cinema is all about teenage films. Those awkward adolescent years and the coming-of-age stories. There’s a fantastic selection of feature and short films, curated by Robinson and Georgina Wills, including Palo Alto, Slacker, Fish Tank, Girlhood, Breathe, Kids, Short Term 12 and Mysterious Skin.

The screenings will run over April every Sunday at 2pm (except the 5th) and every Wednesday at 7pm. All tickets will be sold at concession prices, because nobody likes the adult price obviously.

AEVOE all April.
