Prepare your woofers and floofballs, this pupper-friendly music festival is back for 2016

Pumped.

Melbourne’s first dog-friendly music festival is back for another year for a day of tunes and woofs.

After last year’s sold out event, this year’s festival will boast even more space for punters to sprawl out and dogs to explore.

Thousands of dogs and their music-loving humans will converge to a soundtrack of Melbourne’s finest artists, soaking up spring’s sunshine while they’re at it.

Rounding it out comes ethical food offerings (including Dogapalooza’s own in-house vegan BBQ) and some of the best food trucks in Melbourne, as well as dog-loving stalls of rescue groups alongside boutique dog product vendors.
Official limited edition merchandise will be available on the day, as well as the inaugural Dogapalooza Awards with categories including Best Inner City Hipster and Quiet Achiever.

Capping it off, all proceeds raised at Dogapalooza will go to Oscar’s Law, Stafford Rescue Victoria, Melbourne Animal Rescue, and Puppy Tails Rescue.

Dogapalooza 2016 goes down at Burnley Park, Richmond on Saturday October 9. The first round lineup will be revealed August 26. Tickets via Oztix from Wednesday August 17.
