Sofitel Melbourne is serving up stunning Dior-inspired cocktails

If you didn’t already realise, we’re very excited for the NGV’s upcoming exhibition, The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture.

It seems the team as Sofitel feel the same way. In celebration of the exhibition, Sofitel Melbourne On Collins will be serving up a series of couture-inspired cocktails.

Each drink has been created by master mixologist, Marc Dasan, and highlights a signature Dior design code.

Sofitel’s Atrium Bar will serve up the Code of Conduct Cocktails on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from September 1 to November 4. 

Check out the four drinks below.

The Parfum
Remy Martin VSOP, Tanqueray Gin, Earl Grey syrup and dash of Pernod and grapefruit bitters served in a glass perfume bottle with a smoked fumed glass.
Inspired by: Miss Dior fragrance

The 18th Century
Kettle One Vodka, Crème de Cassis, Crème de Mure and lime juice with white chocolate and pineapple foam, garnished with Persian saffron fairy floss.
Inspired by: exaggerated silhouettes, architecture, decorative arts and the gardens of Palace of Versailles

The Line
Spiced Rum, Pedro Ximenez, Mozart Dark and garnished with fresh fig.
Inspired by: Christian Dior’s silhouettes between 1947 and 1957

The Flower
Grey Goose Le Citron, Lillet Blanc, Crème de Violette and Rosewater infused ice sphere with a frozen pink rose.
Inspired by: Dior’s use of floral motif
