This fashion, art and design event is helping raise money for Cure Cancer Australia

Y’all are invited.

Cancer sucks.

But lending a helping hand on June 1 is the gang from The Whitehouse Institute of Design. They’ve organised a new charity event, Synergy.

Run by third year Styling and Creative Direction students, you can expect to see fashion runway shows, collaborative art stations and a live art installation.

(Not to mention UV body painting and a photo booth – because everyone loves some UV glow and a happy snap memento.)

Through the use of abstract art, representative of cellular beings, Synergy aims to be reflective of a scientific cancer researcher’s mind. So you may just feel like you’re in the mind of a mastermind scientist, with creative spaces full of visuals, symbolic of the disease.

The event is run in support of Cure Cancer Australia and all proceeds will be donated to these guys, as they help kick cancer to the curb.

Tickets range from $50-$80 and can be purchased from the website. Alternatively, you can make a donation here.
