This range of designer furniture has been created especially for cats

It seems that IKEA isn’t the only company serious about taking pet furniture to the next level. 

Okawa Kagu, a collective of artisans in Japan has launched a campaign featuring actual human furniture, scaled down to cat-friendly sizes.  

Called Craftsman MADE, the campaign aims to promote the area of Okawa which is a hub for traditional, high-quality furniture. 

Each piece is designed by a different maker – the couch was crafted by produced by Hiromatsu Furniture, while the bed (which looks comfier than our own) was made by Tateyoshi Wood Crafts.

An installation showcasing the project will be available to view at Okawa Terrazza, the city’s tourist information centre.
