Britney Spears: Glory

It’s Britney, bitch.

I must admit, I didn’t have high expectations for Britney’s ninth album. After all, the last interaction I had with Brit was watching her awkward turn with Iggy Azalea in the ‘Pretty Girls’ clip.

The opener ‘Invitation’ was surprising, to say the least – a dreamy cut that sounds respectively modern.

It’s followed by ‘Do You Wanna Come Over?’ which, by comparison, is thoroughly vintage Spears (in a good way).

It has some highlights (and a few scattered lowlights), but fans of Brit should get around this, even if it’s just via a cheeky champers-and-stream for your Saturday night pre-game.

After all, it’s Britney, bitch.
