Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ music video is here

Explosions and girl power up ahead.

After almost two weeks of non-stop futuristic, neo-noir teaser posters featuring Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, as well as like, everyone ever, Taytay finally premiered her “Bad Blood” video. And it was well worth the wait.

The star-studded, high-energy, post-apocalyptic, city-on-fire, Tron-esque motorcycle-filled extravaganza is arguably Taylor’s most impressive creation yet.

If you’ve been on social media at all today, you probably have already seen about five hundred interpretations of the clip as a kiss-off to Katy Perry after a quarrel the two had over backup dancers a while ago.

Yeah, it’s hard to dispute the not-so-subtle references Tay makes to Katy’s work, including lines like, “you live with ghosts” and “Band-Aids don’t fix bullet holes”, which directly play off Katy’s songs, “Ghost” and “Bullet”.

But we reckon “Bad Blood” also sends out a bigger message, or warning, about her power in Hollywood.

The all-female army of supermodels and actresses are all part of Swift’s “chosen ones” squad. They even agreed to dress up in leather outfits and throw weapons around for her music video – you can be sure they’ll stay by her side no matter what.

With all these high-profile names on her side, it’s safe to say that Taylor is not one to be trifled with.

All that aside, cool music video.
