Maybe Balenciaga is really flattered?

One day, we’ll come to work and there will be no need to report on another fast fashion retailer allegedly ripping off a designer. But today is not that day.

Zara is once again being accused of ripping off designs, this time releasing a shoe that looks suspiciously similar to Balenciaga’s Triple S.

Zara’s ‘Multi-Piece’ features the same bulky style as the Balenciaga version, using a blend of different colours and materials across its upper to give a chunky appearance.

The main difference between the two shoes is the cost. Balenciaga’s Triple S is $795USD, while Zara’s Multi-Piece is just $35USD.

It’s not the first time Zara has been accused of ripping off Balenciaga. Back in May, Zara released its High Top Black Sock Sneakers, which bared an uncanny resemblance to Balenciaga’s Speed Trainer.
