The Royal Croquet Club hits Melbourne tonight

Ready, croquet.

There’s nothing Melbourne loves more than an outdoor venue with fairy lights and food vendors.

Located on Birrarung Marr, The Royal Croquet Club is back to make Melbourne’s dreams come true.

The 16-day festival opens tonight, creating the perfect garden party setting full of croquet pitches for all to have a swing.

For those whose knowledge of croquet extends to a single scene from Alice in Wonderland, there will be plenty more to keep you entertained.

A specially curated food offering will provide plenty of opportunities to flood the ‘gram. Vendors include POW Kitchen, 8bit, Hoy Pinoy, Up In Smoke, lil’ nomnoms, Mr. Chow and Gelato Messina.

Second and third helpings can be eaten alongside some big-name music acts including The Aston Shuffle, Cleopold, Electric Fields, Generik, Hayden James, Jarryd James, KLP, Touch Sensitive and Wealth.

Entry is free from Monday to Sunday or $20 on Friday and Saturday (after 6pm.)

More information, including the full music lineup, can be found on the RCC website.

We’re sure you’ll be seeing Snapchats of this one for the next few weeks.
