Melbourne designers Peter Strateas and Mario-Luca Carlucci of namesake label STRATEAS.CARLUCCI, presented yet another striking and eloquent body of work at MBFWA this year.

The pair who have previously won the prestigious Tiffany & Co. National Designer award, as well as the International Woolmark Prize for both menswear and womenswear in the Australian division, continue to explore the medium of wool in a textural and tailored context.

Setting the mood in a dark, dimly lit, concrete space STRATEAS.CARLUCCI sent beautifully serious models down the catwalk. A distinctive utilitarian vibe can be seen among the pair's work.

Finding the balance between a creative, good looking, desirable garment and something that’s comfortable and functional is what STRATEAS.CARLUCCI do best.
