For the first time ever, anyone can sit front row at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia

Sit next to a Vogue editor and feel just like Anna Wintour.

For the first time in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia’s 25-year history, front row tickets will be available for absolutely anyone to purchase.

While MBFWA is typically an invite-only event for people in the industry, in a surprising move, it’s opening up select seats in its four front rows for opening and closing night and for the Australian Indigenous Fashion Showcase.

Several established and emerging designers are also offering a small portion of seats to the public with the line up including Alice McCall, Aqua Blu, Bassike, Ginger & Smart, Matteau, Tigerlily and We Are Kindred, amongst others.

Or, if you’re feeling flush,  go all out with the Vogue VIP package, and for a cool $324 you’ll land yourself a front-row seat next to a Vogue editor, a pre-show backstage tour, a 12-month subscription to Vogue and endless San Pellegrino to sip on during the show.

All tickets include reserved seating and access to the MBFWA Hub where you can mingle with other guests and take in industry talks. Prices start from $99 AUD and vary depending on brand and row selected.

Tickets are on sale now and the events run between 11-15 of May at Carriageworks in Sydney, so make like Anna Wintour and sit in the front row while wearing your most oversized sunnies.

Fashion Journal is a proud media partner of this year’s MBFWA.
