Australian Fashion Chamber announces its selected designers for Paris Fashion Week

A round of applause.

Paris Fashion Week kicks off on September 27, and once again there is an impressive selection of Australian designers heading over to the City of Love.

Today the Australian Fashion Chamber has announced that Romance Was Born, Tome, Christopher Esber, macgraw, Megan Park, P.E. Nation, Pared Eyewear and Sarah & Sebastian will showcase at the Australian Designers Abroad Showroom.

It’s the third installment of the initative, which aims to build the international profiles of our finest brands.

Each label was chosen by a panel of industry elite from the AFC, Harper’s Bazaar, Tiffany & Co. and Parlour X.

“Designers Abroad takes our best design talent and helps them build their export business and build global footprints,” said AFC’s General Manager, Courtney Miller.

“For Australian designers, it’s a massive undertaking and expense to take their collections to Paris season after season – we make that opportunity possible.”

The Australian Designers Abroad Showroom will run from September 29 to October 4.
