Any time fashion and technology fuse, great things happen. This is especially true with the new Beneath The Surface series presented by Microsoft Surface.

Beneath the Surface will give viewers a backstage pass to MBFWA. The series explores how the lead creative minds of the festival operate and the way the industry is fusing technology with fashion.

The first episode profiles the founders of P.E Nation activewear, Claire Tregoning and Pip Edwards. After working at Sass & Bide together, the duo bonded over a common love of urban sport. Starting a label together was a natural next step.

In the video, the pair go into detail about their creative process, highlighting the advantages of using digital platforms while designing their clothing.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia is set to commence on May 15, so this is just a taste of what’s to come during the festival. Buckle up guys, it’s going to be a big week.
