Made in Bangladesh Film Screening
As part of the world’s largest annual fashion activism campaign, Fashion Revolution Week, Ethical Clothing Australia will present a special screening of Made in Bangladesh on Wednesday, April 29 from 6pm at ACMI, Federation Square, Melbourne.
Made in Bangladesh is a powerful drama that explores the working conditions and social challenges faced by garment workers, inviting audiences to reflect on ethical production, labour rights and the human cost behind the global fashion industry.
The evening will also feature the premiere of Ethical Clothing Australia’s short documentary, marking 25 years of impact. Curated interview footage will further connect the film’s themes to the Australian context, with insights from Christina Hajagos-Clausen, Textile and Garment Industry Director at IndustriALL Global Union, and Jenny Kruschel, National Secretary of the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union.
