Standing up for endangered wildlife.
The Body Shop has always been a firm advocate for animal rights, which we’ve seen with the brand’s Forever Against Animal Testing global campaign.
Recently, The Body Shop has pledged its support for wildlife conservation, donating £500,000 (around AUD$900,000) to help launch three new bio-bridges within damaged or threatened areas.
If you’re not familiar with the term, a bio-bridge is a wildlife corridor which helps endangered species breed and thrive within their environments. The latest donation will aid the World Land Trust and Wildlife Conservation Society Rwanda organisations, supporting the restoration of landscapes in India, Ecuador and Rwanda.
The brand will also continue to fund its original bio-bridge project, which first launched in Vietnam back in 2016.
Luckily for us, there’s a simple way we can contribute. Each time you shop, you’ll be supporting the bio-bridge mission, helping protect and restore over 10 million square metres of forest.
