Louis Vuitton launches its first unisex fragrance line

Louis Vuitton has launched its first-ever unisex fragrance line, dubbed Les Colognes.
Master perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud was recruited by Louis Vuitton to create a series of scents to capture the essence of California. The resulting collection is designed to surround you with images of cacti, sandy beaches and rolling tides.
The range includes three distinct scents: Sun Song – a summery mixture of orange blossom, citron and musk, Cactus Garden – a fresh blend of maté, bergamot and lemongrass, and Afternoon Swim – a concoction of orange, bergamot and mandarin.
In addition to the fragrances, Louis Vuitton collaborated with Californian artist Alex Israel on a set of carry cases, as well as the accompanying packaging for each bottle. Each piece features Israel’s signature wave motif, continuing the beachy, Californian aesthetic.
Les Colognes is set to launch on April 4 at all Louis Vuitton flagship stores.
