From Greek apothecary to beauty sleep potions.
Between The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere and revisiting Girls in Lena Dunham’s new memoir, I’ve been struck hard by nostalgia this month. It seems my beauty routine has, too – suddenly I’m loving ghd-sleeked hair, lip gloss and metallic nail polish à la Emily Charlton.

While my inspo looks to the past, the new beauty releases we’ve been treated to this month are anything but outdated. From heat-regulating hair tools to serum-infused powder blush, here are seven of our favourites worth trying yourself.

Paralia Beauty ‘The Travel Edit’

Watch out Embryolisse, Greek pharmacy skincare is on the rise. Inspired by Greek apothecary, Sydney-based brand Paralia Beauty uses cold-pressed Koroneiki olive oil, coastal sea fennel and wild Mediterranean cypress in its signature Gaia Glow Olive Nectar Face Oil. The brand has recently launched travel-friendly sachets, housed in a cute vintage-inspired tin. A momento from the Euro summer I don’t have coming this year, sadly.
