With the majority of our sales driven by our flagship store in the heart of Collingwood, Melbourne, we are now focused on expanding our presence both nationally and internationally.
We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join us 3-days a week onsite in our Collingwood Flagship location to help drive this exciting next phase of growth. This is a super hands-on role – filming video, editing, copywriting, community management, being the face of the brand – the whole nine yards. The chosen individual will play a crucial role in shaping Black Finch’s digital presence, creating meaningful connections with the audience, and driving engagement that aligns with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a brand ambassador across all social media channels, ensuring consistency in voice, messaging, and visual storytelling.
- Developing and executing social media campaigns, in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Manager, to support product launches, collections, and brand initiatives.
- Developing video content series’, in collaboration with the team and founders of the business.
- Managing daily content creation, scheduling, and posting across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads and LinkedIn, with a focus on community engagement and growth.
- Owning the strategic direction of our channels.
- Leveraging influencer marketing and user-generated content to amplify brand reach, increase engagement, and drive brand advocacy.
- Conducting competitor analysis and using insights to continuously refine social media strategies, improving both engagement and commercial outcomes.
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on social media performance, using KPIs to optimize strategies and ensure alignment with sales and brand growth targets.
