Role Description
We’re hiring: Front of House / Salon Co-ordinator – 4 days, no Saturdays
We’re South Yarra’s go-to for natural, low-tox haircare — built on good energy and thoughtful service. The kind of space where design, detail, and down-to-earth vibes collide.
Now we’re looking for someone to be the heartbeat of the salon — a Salon Co-ordinator / Manager who keeps things flowing, faces smiling, and the calendar ticking like clockwork.
This isn’t just about answering phones. It’s about holding the rhythm of the space. You’ll be the first face our clients see, the behind-the-scenes magician keeping everything running smoothly, and a vital part of the culture we’re building at Bob.
Got an eye for design and a feel for brand tone? There’s room to play in the digital space too — from capturing content to scheduling stories that reflect the mood and energy of the salon.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the welcoming face of Bob — greeting clients, managing bookings, and making sure every visit feels seamless.
- Keep the salon running like clockwork — from coordinating the team’s schedule to keeping the space calm, clean, and beautifully presented.
- Handle client enquiries, rebooking, product recommendations, and payments with confidence and care.
- Run the front-of-house systems smoothly (Timely experience is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker).
- Bring Bob’s energy online — creating and scheduling content that reflects our tone and builds connection.
- Support the team with admin, supplier orders, stock levels, and the small things that make a big difference.
- Be a steady, positive presence for both the team and our clients — holding space and keeping the energy light and professional.
- Contribute your ideas, initiative, and spark to help grow the business and elevate the client experience.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A love of people and a calm, can-do energy under pressure.
- Experience in admin, hospitality, or front-of-house (salon software is a plus).
- Confidence with scheduling, systems, and managing the moving parts.
- A strong visual eye and understanding of brand tone — online and off.
- Warmth, initiative, and a genuine desire to create beautiful, seamless experiences.
