Role Description
Brigid McLaughlin is an Australian Design House that creates Luxury Artisanal Clothing in Natural Fibres, where timeless design meets sustainable, nature positive artistry. The company creates two brands; Brigid McLaughlin – Artistic Designer Womenswear and Events Dressing. PORCELAIN Brigid McLaughlin – Luxury Resort wear.
We are looking for a Creative Intern who has a passion for visual communications, digital marketing, and ecommerce. We operate from a unique open plan retail store and design studio in Haberfield Sydney NSW. We have an opening for a creative intern to join our team. This is an unpaid internship-perfect for building skills and gaining experience. The role is well suited to a Fashion Design Student or a Visual Communications student who is interested in gaining insight and experience within a niche fashion company. The role has the potential to move to a casual paid position for anyone who proves themselves to be an asset for the company.
Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create engaging videos and posts for Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
- Brainstorm and plan visual content and communications on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with us to make sure all content elevates the two brands.
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN
- Experience in ecommerce (Shopify) content creation and digital marketing.
- Experience utilising fashion industry platforms and management tools such as Flaunter, Vista Social, Google Ads Manager and Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics.
- Experience within a niche fashion house and design room.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A creative who is passionate about the creation of artistic upmarket content creation and communications.
- Strong Adobe skills: Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign.
- A willingness to assist in other areas of the small fashion house, as needed, such as the creation of sales assets ie. Selling Guides (Indesign), Digital Lookbooks (Indesign) and Product Photography for Ecommerce.
