Role Description
ZIMMERMANN has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Content Specialist to join our Head Office in Sydney, Australia.
Reporting to the Digital Content Manager, this role supports our Digital presence. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, collaborating with various teams to optimise our digital merchandising performance and deliver a seamless, elevated online experience for our global clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with our global teams to refine the ZIMMERMANN tone of voice, contributing to a cohesive brand narrative and driving the evolution of our digital brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Merchandising: Optimising our website’s merchandising for each global market. This includes leveraging analytics and sales data to curate localised content, seasonal product edits, and compelling product offerings. You will collaborate with our Visual Merchandising team to ensure our online presentation is both beautiful and strategic.
- Product Management: Overseeing the entire product upload process, from quality control of product descriptions to ensuring timely launches. You will enrich product information, categorise items, and recommend cross-sells and upsells to enhance the customer experience. You will also provide senior management with product updates and support the translation process with internal and external teams.
- Product Copy: Managing the creation of all online product descriptions. You will ensure the copy is accurate and reflects the distinctive ZIMMERMANN tone of voice for each collection. This involves coordinating with design and production teams to gather product details and working with our localisation teams to create and translate different versions for our global markets.
- Administration & Analytics: Monitoring and reporting on key website performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement. You will assist with testing for product-related projects and support image compression and gallery setup tasks as needed.
KEY SKILLS
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on digital merchandising and content creation, ideally within the luxury fashion or retail industry.
- A meticulous attention to detail and a creative, proactive mindset.
- The ability to work autonomously, multitask effectively, and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships with both creative and commercial teams.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Magento CMS, and AP21 ERP is preferred.
