Available in both Australia, New Zealand, the USA and UK, we’re setting our sights on building our ‘Gem-pire’ – one bathroom at a time. To do so, we need the help of an experienced Digital Graphic Designer with a strong focus on motion and performance creative to join our growing Design & Creative team. In this role, the Digital Graphic Designer will report to the Senior Graphic Designer, working closely with the Brand and Marketing teams to bring campaigns, launches and always-on activity to life through high-performing digital and motion-led creative.

The role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring close collaboration with performance marketing, creative, social, influencer, e-commerce and regional teams to ensure all creative outputs are on brand, delivered on time, and optimised for engagement, conversion and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-performing digital assets across paid social, website, CRM and organic social channels.
  • Concept and produce motion-first creative including paid ad variations, cutdowns, hooks and UGC-style edits.
  • Support the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing team to ensure all campaigns & product launch assets are brought to life in alignment with brand strategy and creative direction.
  • Create and version assets for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google and other relevant digital platforms, ensuring all outputs are platform optimised.
  • Resize and adapt creative for multiple global markets and campaign touchpoints.
  • Work cross-functionally with brand, e-commerce and marketing teams to iterate creative based on performance insights and testing learnings.
  • Edit photography and video content including cropping, retouching, compositing and light video editing for digital use.
  • Assist in building digital toolkits for product launches, retail moments and key promotional periods.
  • Monitor and respond to creative performance feedback, refining assets to improve results.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Digital or Motion Design role, ideally within e-commerce, beauty or consumer brands.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience working in the FMCG industry, beauty space preferred but not essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) with demonstrated experience in motion graphics.
  • Experience creating performance-driven paid social creative with an understanding of digital best practice and platform specifications.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, motion and storytelling in a digital environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
