| location: | Newtown |
| work type: | Full-time |
| level: | Mid-level |
Role Description
We’re looking for a hands-on eCommerce Coordinator to join MAYE, a fast-growing women’s lifestyle brand. This role is for someone who loves the detail of online retail — product launches, merchandising, UX and data — and wants to help shape a seamless shopping experience for women 40+.
At MAYE, we’re not just a fashion brand — we’re a community built on connection and intention. We believe style should feel effortless and confidence comes from being true to yourself. Our world is grounded in authenticity, shaped by individuality, and fuelled by warmth. We celebrate women who embrace their own path and grow with resilience, creativity and ease.
As our eCommerce Coordinator, you’ll own the day-to-day running of the MAYE website. You’ll manage homepage updates, product launches, promotions and merchandising, while ensuring our product data, sizing, imagery and inventory are accurate and up to date.
You’ll work closely with buying, operations and customer experience, as well as liaise with our website developers for updates and improvements. You’ll also support managing our global markets and help drive growth and newness on site through considered merchandising, UX enhancements and continuous optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day website operations — homepage updates, product launches, promotions and on-site merchandising.
- Build and update collections, product pages, landing pages, tags and filters to ensure a cohesive, easy-to-shop experience.
- Ensure all on-site messaging, pricing and promotions are correct and aligned with the trading calendar.
- Highlight opportunities to improve product discovery (sorting, filters, cross-sell/upsell, content blocks).
- Check online inventory, availability and product presentation for accuracy and consistency, working closely with buying and operations.
- Maintain product data (sizes, colours, fit notes, descriptions, imagery) to ensure our customer has all the information she needs to purchase with confidence.
- Proactively identify and fix issues such as broken links, missing images, incorrect variants or mismatched stock levels.
- Help review and improve the site UX and customer journey across navigation, search, collection pages, product pages, cart and checkout.
- Regularly spot and flag friction points and work with the team to resolve them.
- Liaise with website developers for updates, enhancements and new features — from briefing requirements to testing before go-live.
- Support testing of UX improvements (e.g. new layouts, sections, product detail elements) and help track performance.
- Support the management of global markets (e.g. AU, US, rest of world) including pricing checks, market-specific content, product availability and shipping rules.
- Monitor key eCommerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, funnel performance) and share insights and quick wins with the team.
- Help drive growth and newness on site by: Well-timed merchandising of new collections and bestsellers, suggesting and testing new on-site features or experiences, and identifying opportunities to better serve our global customer through content, assortment and UX.
KEY SKILLS
- 2+ years’ experience in eCommerce, online merchandising or digital trade (fashion or lifestyle a bonus).
- Confident working in Shopify (or similar) — updating homepages, collections, product data and basic site content.
- Highly detail-focused — you naturally spot incorrect prices, stock issues, broken links or inconsistent sizing information.
- Comfortable interpreting dashboards and metrics to understand performance and inform decisions.
- Strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with buying, operations and CX, as well as external developers.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing brand.
- A genuine interest in fashion and lifestyle, with empathy for the MAYE woman (40+).
- Experience with basic A/B testing or UX optimisation.
- Exposure to international markets in an eCommerce context.
