Role Description
Join Jo Mercer, one of Australia’s most iconic fashion brands, as our next eCommerce Specialist. This is the perfect role for someone ready to step up and take ownership of site performance, content, and conversion. You’ll be part of a creative, fast-paced marketing team where data and design come together to deliver exceptional online experiences.
Based in our South Yarra offices, you’ll manage and optimise our two Shopify websites driving performance through sharp analysis, engaging content, and seamless digital execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly performance analysis with actionable insights to improve conversion rate, AOV, and revenue.
- Merchandise website content to align with campaigns, eDMs, and marketing activity.
- Manage product and web copywriting to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
- Manage product enrichment, categorisation, and content optimisation.
- Be the key point of contact for our website developers, managing briefs, testing, and implementation of site changes.
- Create, test, and implement discounts and promotions.
- Lead user testing and implement new website initiatives to improve UX and conversion.
- Support customer acquisition and retention strategies through on-site campaigns and third-party tools (e.g., Yieldify & Klaviyo).
- Assist in planning eCommerce photoshoots alongside our Graphic Designer.
KEY SKILLS
- A degree in Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field, plus 2+ years’ experience in retail eCommerce.
- Proven experience improving website performance and conversion rates.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and copywriting skills within a fashion or retail environment.
- A proactive approach with the ability to balance creativity and commercial thinking.
