Role Description
Reporting to the Creative Director and Operations Manager, this full-time Fine Jewellery Studio Assistant role is based at our Paddington studio. You will provide essential administrative and operational support to our boutique fine jewellery brand, Sarah Gardner Fine Jewellery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team and contribute to the success of our growing business. This role would be suited to someone who has studied or worked in the jewellery trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general support to our operations and workshop managers, including managing stock inventory, assisting with online order fulfilment and working with our jewellers to adhere to production timelines.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service both in-person and via email/phone
- Work with the designer to photograph and document gemstone details for our one off stock pieces
- Assist with and photograph gemstone layouts to send to clients
- Support the Creative Director with various creative projects, such as product photography and social media content creation
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth running of the studio and the overall business operations
- Undertake other duties as required to contribute to the success of the company
KEY SKILLS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with business software and systems
- Passion for the fine jewellery industry and an interest in art and design
- Positive, proactive approach to work
