ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Operations Manager at FinerRings you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the day to day elements of the business. Reporting to the Director, you will oversee the daily operations of multiple store locations, driving performance and optimising processes. This full-time role is based in our Balaclava, Victoria headquarters, with regular travel to our various store locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores, ensuring they operate efficiently and achieve their sales and performance targets.
- Provide strong leadership and mentoring to store managers and frontline staff, supporting them in delivering excellent customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, stock control, and product merchandising across all stores to maximise sales and profitability.
- Monitor and analyse store-level data to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to drive operational excellence.
- Liaise with the other key stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues or challenges impacting store performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and development.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar operations management role, preferably within the retail or consumer products industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiencies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the capacity to multitask and work under pressure.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, or a related field would be an advantage.
