Amalfi Floral Design is hiring a Casual/Temporary hours Floral Designer role in St Kilda, VIC. Apply now to be part of our team.

We’re on the lookout for a Floral Designer + Studio Assistant who’s ready to jump into a fast-paced, creative, and independent role. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, no-fuss team where your autonomy is celebrated, your flair is valued, and your “can-do” energy makes magic happen.
You’ll be hired on a Casual Basis, but with Regular Weekly Hours and the opportunity move to Full Time Hours starting December 1st.
Key Responsibilities
- Reflexing roses like a pro (must be confident and comfortable with this technique)
- Setting up each day in line with Amalfi Operating Principles
- Creating beautiful bouquets and arrangements exactly as pictured or described via our website
- Customer service via phone, text, Instagram and email
- Delivery of flowers in line with our Delivery Process
- Maintaining and conditioning stock in line with Amalfi Operating Principles
KEY SKILLS
- Must have experience as a Florist
- EXCELLENT SENSE OF URGENCY – A successful team member will consistently maintain an intentionally fast pace throughout the day. There is always something to do and always more orders on the way
- “CAN-DO!” ATTITUDE – Nothing is too big of an ask for the Amalfi Studio and you must at all times be ready to make dreams come true
- PROBLEM SOLVING PRO – Maintaining at all times “How can I achieve the best outcome?” will always steer you well.
