Work at the best-smelling place in Melbourne! Lead a small team at our iconic perfumery in Fitzroy.
ABOUT LORE PERFUMERY
Leading the way in cool and unique niche fragrance retail for almost 10 years, we pride ourselves on amazing customer service, our inclusive and warm space, and naturally, our ability to tell a great story via fragrance.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The perfect person loves retail (and fragrance of course), building connections with people (both staff and customers), and has experience leading a small team in sales whilst maintaining a positive store culture.
You will support and develop our team, oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store, while working closely with the company Directors. As store manager, your role is to drive sales and uphold the values and culture of Lore Perfumery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships.
- Motivate, support and develop the team to achieve their KPI’s.
- Provide fragrance consultations (full training provided).
- Drive positivity, confidence and success within the team.
- Provide coaching, training, feedback and mentoring to the team.
- Ensure smooth, effective and efficient store operations.
- Manage stock rotation and merchandising.
- Undertake closing procedures.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
As a small business, we are looking for a dynamic manager who is customer-obsessed. A coach-first leadership style and a passion for nurturing a positive team culture.
- Previous experience in a similar retail management role.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience coaching and supporting a team to drive sales, achieve targets, KPI’s and financial goals.
- High level of communication and organisational skills.
- Proven experience leading in a compassionate people-first manner.
