Role Description
We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the evolution of both our Unison and Commonry brands through innovative, customer-first marketing strategies.
Reporting to the General Manager – Marketing & Ecommerce, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that elevate brand awareness, strengthen social engagement, and build meaningful brand partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver seasonal brand marketing strategies and campaign calendars for both Unison and Commonry.
- Lead the planning and execution of PR, social media, influencer, and content strategies.
- Drive social engagement, grow influencer partnerships, and stay across emerging trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external agencies to deliver on-brand campaigns.
- Oversee media relationships, PR initiatives, product launches, and industry events.
- Partner with concession and retail partners to build strong joint marketing plans.
- Analyse campaign results and report on marketing effectiveness, social performance, and competitor activity.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a small team to deliver outstanding results.
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
KEY SKILLS
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in brand strategy, PR, social media, and campaign management (retail or fashion industry highly regarded).
- A creative yet commercial mindset, with a track record of delivering impactful, customer-focused campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- A confident relationship builder with strong influencing skills across all levels.
- Insight into national and international retail, fashion, and marketing trends.
