Role Description
Based in our Byron Bay Head Office, the Marketing Manager is responsible for leading brand and marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and commercial growth.
This role balances creative direction with commercial thinking, ensuring marketing activity supports sales objectives while maintaining a strong, consistent brand presence. Working cross-functionally and with external partners, the Marketing Manager connects brand storytelling, campaign execution, and performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives
- Define campaign strategy, messaging, and creative direction in line with commercial objectives
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints
- Provide clear creative direction and feedback across campaign assets, content, and executions
- Collaborate with designers, creatives, and agencies to deliver high-quality, on-brand outcomes
- Contribute light hands-on creative or graphic input when required to support speed and quality
- Work closely with eCommerce and merchandising teams to support sales, product drops, and promotions
- Align marketing activity with trading priorities, seasonal calendars, and inventory considerations
- Balance brand building with short- and long-term commercial goals
- Partner with media buyer and performance specialists to align brand campaigns with paid media objectives
- Provide creative strategy, messaging frameworks, and asset direction for performance channels
- Review performance insights and apply learnings to future campaigns
- Oversee content strategy across social, email, and website channels
- Lead influencer, creator, and partnership initiatives from a brand and commercial perspective
- Stay across fashion, consumer, and platform trends to inform strategy
- Monitor campaign and brand performance, reporting on outcomes and insights
- Manage agencies, freelancers, and external partners
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and leadership to align marketing priorities
KEY SKILLS
- 4–7+ years’ experience in marketing, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands
- Strong brand and campaign management experience with a commercial mindset
- Ability to provide creative direction while staying focused on business outcomes
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and eCommerce
- Strong stakeholder management, planning, and communication skills
- Good visual and creative judgement; design capability
