Role Description
Senso is looking for a Mandarin speaking Footwear Production Assistant to join our small, friendly and hardworking team based in Surry Hills.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to hold the below skills:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, speaking and writing).
- Great administrative and communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, efficient and willing to learn.
- A positive attitude and initiative.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
The role will vary but will mainly consist of the below;
- Raising purchase orders and re orders.
- Planning and monitoring production time frames to ensure on time deliveries.
- Negotiating prices and costing.
- Entering data and maintaining internal systems.
- Quality checking bulk deliveries.
- Placing sample orders and monitoring sample development.
- Liasing with factories via our China office.
- Fit testing samples and bulk production.
- Organising shipping/freight.
