ABOUT YOU
We are looking to recruit a Sales and Events Tarteist to play a vital role in our Sephora business. Must enjoy the retail environment and possess high artistry, sales and people skills. Energy, passion & resilience are crucial; must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- The key aspect of this role is to function as a tarte brand rep who can drive sales across Sephora stores in Vic. The applicant must be able to give customers a memorable, elevated shopping experience when looking for tarte products.
- General store duties: sales & merchandising. Maintaining sufficient stock in drawers and hitting KPIs.
- Develop and assess an impactful way to merchandise stock on the floor and in the stock room.
- Act as primary day-to-day brand contact for designated stores; achieve targeted sales growth within those stores while staying within budgetary parameters, as outlined by REM
- Be the “eyes and ears” of the brand at the store level; provide continual communication of store, product, space/location challenges and/or changes to RM.
- Owns the relationship and public relations at door level with Store teams.
- Maintain weekly communication with AM regarding business opportunities, results, and successes; complete and submit post-event recaps and contribute to the weekly digital reports & monthly recaps.
- Support tarte in-store merchandising and visual programs and communicate challenges to AM.
- Represent the tarte brand with your image, makeup application (on self) and artistry presentation during training sessions with teams and at events
- Be aware of artistry trends and translate that to tarte products/applications in training and event activities.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with RM to use business analysis tools to create impactful store-based action plans.
- Collaborate with retail partners to analyze and assess stock needs; relay stock concerns to RM.
- Execute In-store events.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have 2-3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the cosmetics industry
- Memorable, positive, professional and enthusiastic presence
- Strong aptitude for product knowledge, brand messaging, artistry, training and selling
- Understanding of/experience working with Sephora will be a plus point.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; email and phone skills are essential.
- Ability to take strategic direction based on sales and business analysis
- Self-motivated, committed and goal-oriented
- Energetic and passionate with an entrepreneurial, flexible spirit
- Computer literate & pays close attention to details.
- Physically capable of lifting & moving products around safely.
- Flexibility regarding work hours is essential, i.e. weekends & public holidays.
- The applicant will have excellent organisational skills.
