Role Description
Vic and Bert is a growing fashion brand with a flagship store in Lorne. We’re a small, passionate team seeking a Social Media and eCommerce Manager to support our next stage of growth. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, hands-on environment and is confident managing both digital storytelling and online sales. You’ll be responsible for managing our online presence, strengthening our brand voice, and building relationships with influencers and media, while ensuring our e-commerce platforms run smoothly.
THE ROLE
- Location: Remote (with connection to our flagship store in Lorne, VIC).
- Commitment: 1–2 days per week.
- Team Size: Small, collaborative team of 3 (and growing!)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Vic and Bert’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content that reflects our brand identity and community.
- Engage with influencers, stylists, media outlets, and magazines to expand brand reach and visibility.
- Manage our Shopify website, ensuring product listings, imagery, and descriptions are accurate and optimised.
- Use Shopify, Klaviyo, Shippo, and Loop Returns to manage the e-commerce customer journey (note: online orders are fulfilled by our Lorne store team).
- Provide insights and reporting on campaign performance, digital growth, and online sales.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in social media management and e-commerce, ideally in fashion/retail.
- Strong familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Shippo, Loop Returns, and all key social media platforms.
- A creative eye for content and the ability to tell the brand story online.
- Proven ability to build relationships with influencers, media, and industry contacts.
- Highly organised, proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a small team.
- Based in Australia, with availability to connect with our Lorne store team as needed.
